Supreme Court of India invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Law Clerks-cum-Research Associates in the Supreme Court of India purely on a contractual basis.

Law Clerks-cum-Research Associates: 90 Vacancies
Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess Law Graduate Degree from any School/ College/ University/ Institution established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate.
The candidate studying in the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of the Three-Year Law Course after graduation in any stream will also be eligible to apply.
The candidate must have research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and knowledge of computer, including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/ processes such as e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years as on 07-02-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
Selection Process: The selection process shall be conducted in three phases:
Phase I - Multiple Choice-based questions conducted in online mode, testing the candidates’ ability to understand and apply the law, and comprehension skills;
Phase II - Subjective Written Test, covering writing and analytical skills;
Phase III - Interview.
Remuneration: Rs.1,00,000/- per month
Application fee: Rs.750/-
