South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2025-26: 10 Scouts & Guides Positions

South Eastern Railway invites online applications from eligible Scouts & Guides candidates having minimum educational and Scouts & Guides Qualification for recruitment in Level-2 (GP - Rs. 1900) and Level-1 (GP-Rs. 1800) in Scouts & Guides quota on South Eastern Railway.

Eligibility Criteria:

Group C posts: Candidates must have passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualifications like Graduation/Post Graduation from recognized institutions/universities).

Group D posts: Candidates must have passed 10th OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT from recognized institutions.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Group C, and 33 years for Group D posts as of 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates for the Scouts & Guides Quota will be selected on the basis of a Written Test (60 marks) and Scouts & Guides Qualification Certificates (40 marks).

The Candidates recommended for appointment will be subjected to requisite medical fitness examination conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are Medically FIT to carry out the duties connected with the post. Only those candidates who are Medically FIT would be empanelled for appointment.

Pay Scale:
Pay Level-2 (GP - Rs. 1900) for Group C
Pay Level-1 (GP-Rs. 1800) for Group D

Application Fee: Rs.500 for General, EWS, OBC categories candidates
Rs.250 for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwBD/ Women/ Minorities and EBC candidates.
