  South Eastern Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement/ training as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time, in Workshops and other establishments of South Eastern Railway.

  Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed the Matriculation from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and an ITI Pass certificate (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done) granted by the NCVT/SCVT.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on the merit list. The merit list in each trade will be prepared with the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks.

  Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
  SC/ ST/ PWD and Women candidates are exempted from such payment of application fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
