State Health Society, Bihar invites online applications from eligible candidates for the post of 'Community Health Officer' (on a contractual basis) under the National Health Mission.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of a six-month integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University from the academic year 2020 onwards.
OR
Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of six months Integrated curriculum of Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University from the academic year 2020 onwards.
OR
B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)/ General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) passed candidates who have completed Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) through IGNOU/ other State Public Health/ Medical Universities as per the curriculum of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India (specified for eligibility of CHOs by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GOI).

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 42 for males and 45 years for females as on 01-10-24. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Remuneration: 40000/- per month

Application Fee: Rs.500, for UR/ EWS/ BC/ EBC males candidates
Rs.250/- for ST/ SC/ PwBD (Bihar Domicile) categories candidates.
