Job Description
Supreme Court of India invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Editor, Assistant Director (Ex-cadre), Senior Court Assistant (Ex-cadre), and Assistant Librarian posts.

Assistant Editor: 05 Vacancies
Assistant Director: 01 Vacancy
Senior Court Assistant: 02 Vacancies
Assistant Librarian: 14 Vacancies
Eligibility Criteria:
Assistant Editor Post: The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Law of a University in India recognized by the Bar Council of India or any State Bar Council for enrolment as an Advocate.
Assistant Director Post: The candidate must possess a Master's Degree in Museology with Ist Class of a recognized University.
Senior Court Assistant Post: The candidate must possess a Master's Degree in Museology with high II Class (minimum 55% marks) of a recognized University.
Assistant Librarian Post: The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Library Science from a recognized university.
AND
Diploma in Computer Application recognized by AICTE/ DOEACC or equivalent or Library Automation Course conducted by National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 30 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years (30 years for Assistant Librarian, and 35 years for Senior Court Assistant posts) for Assistant Editor, and Assistant Director posts as on 01-05-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
Selection Process:
Assistant Editor Posts: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test followed by Interview.
Assistant Director, Senior Court Assistant, and Assistant Librarian Posts: Candidates who successfully qualify for the Written Test may be called for the Computer Test, and those who qualify both the Written Test and the Computer Test may be called for an interview.
Pay Scale: Pay Level 12 for Assistant Editor posts
Pay Level 11 for Assistant Director posts
Pay Level 08 for Senior Court Assistant, and Assistant Librarian posts
