The Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Ajmer is inviting online applications for recruitment of Assistant Electrical Inspector for the Energy Department under the Rajasthan Engineering Service (Electrical Inspectorate Branch) Rules, 1975.

Assistant Electrical Inspector: 09 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution or A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized Institution
And
Candidates have been regularly engaged for a period of three years in case of Degree holders and Ten years in case of Diploma holders in the practice of Electrical Engineering of which not less than one year should have been spent in an Electrical Engineering workshop or generation of electricity or in the administration of Electricity of the Electricity Act, 2003 and rules made there under in a position of responsibility.

Candidates must have working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will selected on the basis of written examination. If required, the Commission may adopt scaling/ moderation/ normalization method in the evaluation of answer sheets/ answer papers. As per Rule 20 of the relevant service rules, the names of the candidates found suitable by the Commission will be recommended to the appointing authority/government which will be arranged in the order of merit.

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level- 14

Application Fee: Rs. 600/- for General (Unreserved)/ Creamy Layer of Backward Class/ Creamy Layer of Most Backward Class Candidates
Rs. 400/- for Reserved Category (SC/ ST/ Disabled/ Backward Class - Non-Creamy Layer/ Very Backward Class - Non-Creamy Layer/ EWS/ Sahriya Area) Candidates.
