Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), established on 29th March 2004, is a State-owned Power Utility in Odisha. OPTCL has infrastructure that spans for about 16,508 CKT KMs of transmission line, encompassing a vast and robust transmission network of 195 substations ranging from 132 kV to 400 kV.

Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Management Trainee (Electrical) Through Gate – 2024.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have appeared and qualified for GATE 2024 conducted by IISc, Bangalore, and the GATE 2024 Score (Normalized Marks out of 100) should be mentioned while applying.

Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institution or pass Section- A&B of IE (India) in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years as on 01-11-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical Engineering discipline paper of GATE 2024 followed by a Personal Interview.

Training Period: 01 Year

Stipend: 50,000/- per month

Application Fee: Rs.1180, for Unreserved/ SEBC category candidates and Rs.590/- for ST/ SC/ PwBD category candidates.
