Job Description :

North Western Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Act Apprentices for imparting of training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in designated trades in workshops and units in the jurisdiction of North Western Railway.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate, from a recognized Board and also possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/ State Council for Vocational Training(SCVT).

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years as on 10-12-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the merit list. The merit list will be created based on a percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.

Application Fees: Rs.100/-
SC/ ST/ PwBD/ and women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
