Job Description :

Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO), a wholly owned corporate entity under the Maharashtra Government, invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Assistant Engineer positions.

Eligibility Criteria:

Assistant Engineer(Transmission): Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Technology from a recognized university.

Assistant Engineer(Telecommunication): Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication OR a Bachelor’s of Technology in Electronics & Telecommunication from a recognized university.

Note: Candidate must be a Domicile of Maharashtra.

Age Limit As of 31-07-2024: The upper age limit for outsider candidates is 38 Years for Open Candidates. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Pay Scale: The selected candidate will draw a salary in the pay scale of Rs. 49210-2165-60035-2280-119315.

Selection Process: The selection process shall comprise of online written test only. The online written test will be of an objective type.
- Test of Professional Knowledge is a total of 110 marks
- Test of General Aptitude of 40 marks: Reasoning 20 Marks, Quantitative Aptitude 10 Marks, and Marathi Language 10 Marks
Centers for Online Written Test: Ahmednagar, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Chandrapur, Dhule, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Latur, Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai/Thane/Greater Mumbai, Nagpur, Nanded, Nasik, Pune, Sangli, Satara, and Solapur.

Application Fee: Rs. 700/- for Open Category and Rs. 350/- for Reserved Cast, SEBC, EWS and Orphan. Application Fee shall not apply to Divyang persons for whom the post is reserved.

Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
