Income Tax Odisha Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Notification

The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Odisha invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of meritorious sportspersons under sports quota in Income Tax Department, Odisha.

Eligibility Criteria:

Tax Assistant Posts: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent, and
Data Entry Speed: 8000 key depressions per hour

Stenographer Posts: Candidates must have pased 12th class pass or equivalent,
Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 wpm
Transcription: 50 minutes (English)/ 65 minutes (Hindi)

MultiTasking Staff Posts: Candidates must have pased Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years (25 years for MultiTasking Staff posts) as on 01-08-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:

For the posts of Tax Assistant and Stenographer: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Skill Test.

MultiTasking Staff Posts: Candidates will be selected based on merit list prepared on the basis of their sports achievement.

Pay level-1 MultiTasking Staff Posts
