HPSC Recruitment Advertisement 42 to 67 of 2024

Haryana Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 2424 Posts of Assistant Professors (College Cadre), in various subjects in the higher education department, Government of Haryana.

Assistant Professors (College Cadre): 2424 Vacancies

Subjects: Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Sciences, Defence Studies, Economics, English, Environmental Science, Fine Arts, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Mass Communication, Math, Music, Philosophy, Physical Education, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tourism, and Zoology.

Candidates will be selected based on a screening test of 100 marks, followed by a subject knowledge test of 150 marks, and an interview.

Opening Date for Submission of Online Application: August 7, 2024

Last Date for Submission of Online Application: August 27, 2024

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 42 years as of July 15, 2024. However, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Government rules.

Qualification: Candidates must have a good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject. Candidates should know Hindi or Sanskrit up to the matriculation standard. Candidates must have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grant Commission, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, or a similar test accredited by the University Grant Commission as SLET or SET, which remains the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professors in colleges.

Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission regulation, 2009 shall be exempt from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET, or SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.

NET, SLET, or SET shall not be required for such Master’s programs in disciplines for which NET, SLET, or SET is not conducted.

Pay Scale: Rs. 57,700–182,400/-

Rs. 250/- for Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Ex-Service Men/ Women/Special Backward Classes/Economically Backward Persons in the General Castes Category.
Rs. 1000/- General and DESM candidates
Physically handicapped candidates are exempt from paying application fees.
