The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Assistant Director and Laboratory Technical Posts at BIS Headquarters, New Delhi, and BIS Offices located in the country.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: The candidate's maximum age limit is 35 years for Group A posts, 30 years for Group B posts, and 27 for Group C posts. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on an On-line Exam and Interview for Group A posts, an Online Exam, and Skill Test for Group B posts, an Online exam and Practical/Trade Test for Group C Posts, and an Online exam and Typing Speed Test for Junior Secretariat Assistant posts.

Remuneration: Pay Level 10 of 56100 - 177500 for Group A posts
Pay Level 06 of 35400 - 112400 for Group B posts
Pay Level 04 of 25500 - 81100 for Group C posts
Pay Level 02 of 19900 - 63200 for Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Technician (Electrician/Wireman) posts

Application Fee: Rs 800/- for the post of Assistant Director (Hindi), Assistant Director (Finance), and Assistant Director (Marketing & Consumer Affairs), and Rs.500/- for other posts. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women and BIS-serving employees are exempted from paying the application fee.
