The Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, Assam invites online applications from eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Assam for filling up of different categories of vacant positions of Teachers and Laboratory Assistant for Adarsha Vidyalayas of Assam. The nature of engagement shall be purely contractual for a period of 11 (eleven) months only, which may be extended subject to satisfactory annual performance.

Post Graduate Teacher: 38 Vacancies
Graduate Teacher: 72 Vacancies
Assistant Teacher: 33 Vacancies
Laboratory Assistant: 05 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualifications, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 45 years as of 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit on requisite qualification. The Short-Listed Candidates shall be called for a Teaching Proficiency Test. The Teaching Proficiency Test shall be conducted through a duly constituted Panel/ Board.
