  Job Description :

  Western Railway invites online applications from eligible sports persons candidates for the recuitment of group ‘C’ and group ‘D’ of the Sports Quota posts for the year 2025-26 over Western Railway.

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: 64 Vacancies

  Group C: 21 Vacancies
  Group D: 43 Vacancies

  Important Dates:
  Commencement of Online Application: 30-07-2025
  Last Date of Online Application: 29-08-2025

  Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years of age as of 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: All eligible candidates will be called for trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks for Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial) shall be assessed
  for next stage of recruitment.

  The final selection of candidates will be based on the overall perfomance (game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation) in trial weightage 40 marks, assessment of recognized sports achievements as per norms weightage 50 marks, and educational qualification weightage 10 marks.

  Application Fee: Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women Candidates.
  Rs.500 for all others candidates
