Job Description :

Railway Recruitment Cell, West Central Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for West Central Railway Divisions/ Units.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board for all trades and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years of age as of 20-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will selected based on a merit list. The merit list will be prepared based on average marks obtained in the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) plus ITI/Trade marks for all the eligible candidates {including those candidates who applied for Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology and Radiology) trade}.

Application Fee: Rs. 41/- for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates
Rs 141/- for all other candidates
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.

Training Period and Stipend: Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices for the period as applicable for the designated trade. They will be paid a stipend during their training as per extant rules.
