Job Description :

The Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board (UKPCB), invites applications from eligible candidates for the following temporary posts to assist officers for various works related to the management of Solid Waste/ Plastic Waste/ BMW and for laboratories established under NMCC.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (for assisting day to day Board's functioning): 10 Vacancies
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (for NMCG): 07 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Post Graduation in Chemistry/ Environment Science/ Micro Biology/ Biochemistry
or
Post-graduation in Chemical/ Environmental/ Bio, Chemical Engineering.

Valid GATE or NET.

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as of the date of publication of this advertisement. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview, for which separate intimation will be given.

Service Duration: Services of JRF to assist in day-to-day Board's activities shall be appointed for a period of one year.
Services of JRF under NMCG shall be up to the duration of the project and any upgradation shall be subject to the direction of NMCG.

Scale of Pay: Rs.37,000 per month
