Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Lucknow invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Statistical Officer/ Assistant Research Officer (Statistics) positions under the control of various departments.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Commerce or Economics or Statistics from a University established by law in India or any qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Candidates must have possess 'O' level Diploma in Computer Science awarded by DOEACC Society or at least one year Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institution.

Candidates must have knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.

Preferential Qualification:
(i) Candidates must has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 02 years,
OR
(ii) Candidates must has obtained 'B' certificate of the National Cadet Corps.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-07-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a written examination. Written examination marks which will be of a qualifying nature. There is a provision of negative marking for each wrong answer for the examination, which will be 25 percent i.e. ½ of the marks prescribed for that question.
