Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Lucknow invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard under the control of the Office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Department, Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualification:
(i) has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years,
or
(ii) has obtained a "B" certificate of the National Cadet Corps,
or
(iii) has obtained a certificate in Computer Application from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government,
or
(iv) has represented the State in any sport.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-07-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, followed by the Medical Examination.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 02

Application Fee: Rs. 25 for General/ OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates
