The Union Public Commission Selection (UPSC) invites eligible candidates to apply online for the Engineering Services Examination 2025.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

232 Posts in various engineering disciplines as;
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering from a University; or have passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or obtained a degree/ diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/ College/ Institution and under such conditions as may be recognized by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/ Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as of 01-01-2025. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2 nd January 1995 and not later than 1st January 2004. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on three stages of examination:
Stage-I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/ Stage-I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for the Stage-II
Stage-II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers) and
Stage-III: Personality Test

Application Fee: Rs.200

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD/Women are exempted from payment of the application fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
