  Job Description :

  Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Inspector/ Sub Inspector positions.

  UP Police Sub Inspector Civil Police (Male / Female): 4242 Vacancies
  Platoon Commander PAC: 135 Vacancies
  Platoon Commander Special Force: 60 Vacancies
  Sub Inspector Female Battalion: 106 Vacancies

  Important Dates:
  Commencement of Online Application: 12-08-2026
  Last Date of Online Application: 11-09-2025

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Graduation degree from a University established by law in India or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on 01-07-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination of 400 marks, Physical Standard Test followed by the Physical Efficiency Test/ PET.

  Pay Scale: Rs.9,300 - 34,800

  Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for UR/ EWS/ OBC category candidates
  Rs. 400/- for SC/ ST category candidates.
