  Job Description :

  Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Computer Operator Grade-A.

  Computer Operator Grade-A: 1352 Vacancies

  Important Dates:
  Commencement Date of Online Application: 16-12-2025
  Last Date of Online Application: 15-01-2026

  Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed Intermediate examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as subjects.
  AND
  Candidate must have passed "O" Level examination in Computer from Department of Electronics Integrated in Computer and Communication (DOEACC), Government of India or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Government. Equivalency determination will be done as per Government Order No. 08/2022/2/47-Ka-2-2022/02 LC/2022, dated 05 May 2022 (Appendix-1).
  OR
  Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh or any qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on 01-07-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination, followed by the Medical Examination.

  Pay Scale: Pay Level 04

  Application fees: Rs.500/- for General/ EWS/ OBC category candidates.
  Rs.400/- for SC/ ST category candidates.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online
