Tripura Public Service Commission Agartala invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Junior Engineer, Grade-I Electrical Engineering under the Rural Development Department, Government of Tripura through the "Combined Competitive Examination Rules-2022".

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Junior Engineer, Grade-I: 05 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Electrical Branch of Engineering or its equivalent academic qualification from a recognized University/ Institution.

A permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura(PRTC) would be required while applying for a job.

Desirable: Having Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-borok.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as of 12-06-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of 03 successive stages:
(i) Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type) for 100 marks
(ii) Main Examination for 500 marks
(iii) Interview for 50 marks

Pay Scale: Pay Level 13

Application Fee:
For Group B:
Rs.350/- for General category candidates.
Rs.250/- for ST/ SC/ BPL card holders category candidates.

For Group C:
Rs.200/- for General category candidates.
Rs.150/- for ST/ SC/ BPL card holders category candidates.
