THDC India Limited (THDCIL) is a premier power sector Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) and a consistently profit-making company. It was incorporated as a Public Limited Company in July 1988 under the Companies Act, 1956, with the primary mandate of developing, operating, and maintaining the 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex.

THDC India Limited (THDCIL) invites online applications from eligible candidates to recruit Junior Mine Surveyor/junior Overman on a regular basis.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies: 05 Vacancies

Junior Mine Surveyor (GradeII) in S-2 Grade: 03 Vacancies
Junior Overman (Grade-II) in S-2 Grade: 02 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a full-time regular Diploma in Mining Engineering/ Mine Survey/ Mining & Mine Surveying/ Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from a recognized University/ Institute with a certificate of competency in Coal issued by DGMS.

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Junior Overman post as on 01-07-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a computer-based Test.

The final merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in Computer Based Test will carry the weightage of 100%.

Test Centres for Computer Based Test: Delhi, Noida, Dehradun, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ranchi, and Kolkata.

Pay Scale: Rs.29,400 - 1,19,200/- per month

Application Fee: Rs. 600/- for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates.
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen/ Doob Kshetra of THDC Projects/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
