Job Description :

Textiles Committee is a Statutory body, established under an Act of Parliament in the year 1963 and is functioning under the administrative control of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The Textiles Committee is engaged in various activities for promotion of quality in Textile Industry.

The Textiles Committee invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of various posts.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 27 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years for Deputy Director (Laboratory)
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Assistant Director (Laboratory)
Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years for Assistant Director (EP&QA), 25 years for Quality Assurance Officer (EP&QA)
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 25 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years for Statistical Officer
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years for Quality Assurance Officer (Lab)
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 22 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years for Field Officer, Junior Investigator, Senior Statistical Assistant
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 27 years for Librarian
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 25 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Accountant
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 19 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years for Junior Quality Assurance Officer (Laboratory)
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Junior Translator
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years for Junior Statistical Assistant Posts as on 31-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question for all Posts.

The final merit list will be created on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer Based Test.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 11 for Deputy Director (Laboratory) Post
Pay Level 10 for Assistant Director (Laboratory), Assistant Director (EP&QA), and Statistical Officer Post
Pay Level 06 for Quality Assurance Officer (EP&QA), Quality Assurance Officer (Lab), Field Officer, Librarian, Accountant, and Junior Translator Post
Pay Level 05 for Junior Quality Assurance Officer (Laboratory), Junior Investigator, and Senior Statistical Assistant Post
Pay Level 04 for Junior Statistical Assistant Post

Application Fee: Rs.1500/- for Unreserved/ OBC/ EWS/ ESM candidates of Group A and Rs.1000/- for Unreserved/ OBC/ EWS/ ESM candidates of Group B and C.
SC/ ST/ PwBD Candidates are exempted from the application fee.
