Job Description :

Southern Central Railway, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Sports Persons in the following disciplines in Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2025-26 over Southern Central Railway.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Sports Persons: 61 Vacancies [21 Group C Posts, and 40 Group D Posts]

Group C Positions: 21 Vacancies
Grade Pay 2000/1900 (Level 3/2 in 7th CPC): 21 Vacancies

Group D Positions: 40 Vacancies

Grade Pay 1800 (Level 1 in 7th CРC): 10 Vacancies

Secunderabad Division: 05
Hyderabad Division: 05 Vacancies
Vijaywada Division: 05 Vacancies
Guntur Division: 05 Vacancies
Guntakal Division: 05 Vacancies
Nanded Division: 05 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

For the post having GP-Rs. 1800: Matriculation (10th pass) or ITI or its equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

For the posts having GP-Rs.1900/2000: Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent examination.

Sports Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum required sports eligibility and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected on the basis of performance in Sports Trials and evaluation of sports and educational achievements.

Application Fee: Rs.250 for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ ExServicemen/ Women/ Minorities and Economically Backward Classes category candidates.
Rs. 500/- for all other candidates.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
