Job Description :

State Health Society, Bihar invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Senior Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Technician posts in various departments.

Eligibility Criteria:

Senior Laboratory Technician Post: The candidate must have possess a M. Sc Medical Microbiology Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with or without DMLT.
And
Two years of work experience in TB Laboratory Test Mycobacterium tuberculosis related Genotypic tests (Nucleic Acid Amplification Tests, Line Probe Assay)/ Phenotypic Tests (Culture & Drug Susceptibility Tests).
OR
B. Sc Microbiology with DMLT/ B.Sc. Biotechnology with DMLT/ B.Sc. Biochemistry with DMLT/ B.Sc. Chemistry with DMLT/ B.Sc. Life science with DMLT/ B.Sc. Botany with DMLT/ B.Sc. Zoology with DMLT.
And
Three years of work experience in TB Laboratory Test Mycobacterium tuberculosis related Genotypic tests (Nucleic Acid Amplification Tests, Line Probe Assay)/ Phenotypic Tests (Culture & Drug Susceptibility Tests).

Laboratory Technician Post: The candidate must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 37 years as on 01-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer based Test followed by Document verification.

Pay Scale: Rs.24,000/- for Senior Laboratory Technician
Rs.15,000/- for Laboratory Technician

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for General/ BC/ EBC/ EWS category and other states candidates
Rs. 125/- for SC/ ST/ Divyang/ Female candidates of reserved/ unreserved category of Bihar state
