    Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess 12th grade or an equivalent secondary school qualification from a recognized educational institution.

    Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 33 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

    Selection Process: The examination will be conducted in two stages. The first stage, Computer Based Test 1, will consist of 100 marks, comprising 40 marks for General Awareness, 30 marks for Mathematics, and 30 marks for General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to complete this stage. 

    Successful candidates from Computer Based Test 1 will proceed to the second stage, Computer Based Test 2. 

    CBT 2 will also be of 120 marks, with 50 marks allocated to General Awareness, 35 marks to Mathematics, and 35 marks to General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates will once again have 90 minutes to complete this stage. 

    For the positions of Account Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist, a qualifying Typing Skill Test (TST) will be conducted after candidates clear CBT 2. 

    Note: There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

    Mathematics: Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics etc. 

    General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement- Conclusion, Statement- Courses of Action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation of Graphs etc.

    General Awareness: Current Events of National and International Importance, Games and Sports, Art and Culture of India, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places of India, General Science and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), History of India and Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and World, Indian Polity and Governance- constitution and political system, General Scientific and Technological Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN and Other important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India and World at Large, Basics of Computers and Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems in India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities of India and World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora and Fauna of India, Important Government and Public Sector Organizations of India etc

    Pay Scale: Pay Level 03 for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk Posts
    Pay Level 02 for Trains Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist Posts

    Application Fee: Rs.500 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates.
    Rs.250 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Minorities, or Economically Backward Class candidates.

    What is the closing date for registration of applications for CEN No. 07/2025?

    The closing date for registration of applications is 27-11-2025.

    My final results are expected after 27 of Nov 2025. Can I apply?

    No, candidates waiting for the final results of prescribed educational/technical qualifications are not eligible to apply. Candidates should possess prescribed educational/technical qualifications on or before the closing date for submission of applications for this CEN.

    How many pay levels are there in CEN No. 07/2025?

    There are two pay levels in CEN No. 07/2025 (Level-3 and Level-2).

    Can I submit a common application for another post?

    Yes. You can submit common application for other posts also if you fulfill the educational qualification.

    Can I apply to different RRBs for different pay levels?

    No. Candidates are allowed to apply for one RRB only.

    Can I apply to more than one RRB?

    No, you should not. Applying to more than one RRB will result in the rejection of all applications and will lead to debarment from all future examinations of RRB and RRC.

    Can I apply multiple applications to the same RRB?

    No, you should not. Multiple applications to same RRB will result in the rejection of all applications and will lead to debarment from all future examinations of RRB and RRC.

    Can I change my ‘Chosen RRB’?

    No, you cannot change the ‘chosen RRB’ after submission of the application.

    Can I edit my details during the application process?

    Yes. Any details in the application other than the details entered during ‘Create an Account’ can be edited till the application is submitted and registration number generated.

    What is the crucial date for reckoning age for this CEN-07/2025?

    The crucial date for reckoning age is 01.01.2025.

    How can I pay the fees?

    The fees can be paid only ONLINE through Net banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI services.Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable from the candidate in addition to the fees.

    What are the stages of the recruitment process?

    First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Typing Skill Test (as applicable), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME).

    Will there be negative marking?

    There will be negative marking @1/3rd mark for every wrong answer in CBT.

    Should I provide the order of preference for all the posts for which I am eligible?

    Yes, candidates are advised to indicate their order of preference for as many posts as they are eligible for in the chosen RRB. Candidates with partial preferences will only be considered for the specific Railway Zones and posts/categories they have opted for, subject to vacancy availability at the time of allotment. If no preference is given for certain posts/categories, it will be considered as their unwillingness for those posts. Once preferences are submitted, they are final, and no changes will be entertained.

    In case of rejection of my application, will the fee paid by me be refunded?

    No refund of fee will be made on account of rejection of applications.

    Can I take the printout of the application?

    Yes. Candidates can take print out of their application after payment of examination fees.
