West Bengal Public Service Commission, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the West Bengal Judicial Service Examination, 2023.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Civil Judge: 54 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Law from any University or Institution affiliated to any University recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 23 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 28-12-2023. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Examination followed by the Main Examintion and Personality Test.

The Preliminary Examination will be held at Kolkata and Darjeeling in Dec 2025.
The Final written Examination will be held at Kolkata in March, 2026.

Pay Scale: Rs.27,700 – 1,33,630

Application Fee: Rs.210/-
SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates of West Bengal are exempted from paying Application fees.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
