Job Description :

West Bengal Public Service Commission, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Chemist positions in Water Resources Investigation and Development Department, Government of West Bengal.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Chemist: 06 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must possess a Second Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent;
And
Two years’ experience in water analysis.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 36 years as on 01-01-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of Screening Test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the final interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level-16

Application Fee: Rs.210/-
SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates of West Bengal are exempted from paying Application fees.
