  Odisha Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the advertisement of the Combined Recruitment Examination for Junior Stenographer, Junior Grade Typist, and Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant-2025 under various departments of the Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

  Junior Stenographer (District Offices): 67 Vacancies
  Junior Grade Typist: 05 Vacancies
  Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant: 02 Vacancies

  Commencement of Online Applications: 04-04-2024
  Last Date of Online Application: 03-05-2025
  Tentative Month of Preliminary Examination: May/ June 2025

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as language subject
  OR
  Must have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of examination in non-language subject
  OR
  Must have passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class­ VII or above from a school or educational institution recognised by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government
  OR
  Must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years (18 years for Junior Grade Typist) and must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years as on 01-01-2025. Candidates must not have been born earlier than 02-01-1993 and not later than 15-01-2007. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Preliminary examination and the Main Written examination.

  Scale of Pay: Rs.25,500 - 81,100 for Junior Stenographer
  Rs.19,900 - 63,200 for Junior Grade Typist and Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant
