  Job Description :

  Ordnance Factory Kanpur, a unit of AWEIL Kanpur invites applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Machinist posts on Contract Basis.

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

  Machinist: 116 Vacancies

  Important Dates:
  Commencement of Application: 18-03-2026
  Last Date of Application: 08-04-2026

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Matriculation + National Trade Certificate (NTC)/National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) issued by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT).

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 08-04-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the marks scored in the NCTVT and trade test/ Practical test only, in the order of Merit. 
  Trade Test will be carried out by Ordnance Factory Kanpur.

  The merit list will be prepared based on combined marks secured in the NCTVT Exam and Trade test/ Practical Test.

  Remuneration: Rs. 18,000/- Per Month

  Tenure Period: 01 Year

  Application Fee: Rs.100 through a Demand Draft in the name of Ordnance Factory Kanpur
  Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ Physically Handicap are exempted from paying the fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
