North Eastern Railway Recruitment 2025-26: 1104 Apprentice Positions

North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Sports Persons in the following disciplines in Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2025-26 over North Eastern Railway.

Diesel Shed/ Gonda: 88 Positions
Carriage & Wagon/ Varanasi: 73 Positions
TRD Varanasi: 40 Positions

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 10th class with minimum 50% marks and ITI in relevant trade.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years as on 16-10-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage of
marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

Candidates provisionally selected for Document Verification will be called for Document Verification at Gorakhpur.

Application Fee: Rs.100
SC/ ST/ PwBD /Female candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
