Job Description :

National Institute of Technology Mizoram is an Institution of National Importance by an Act of Parliament of India i.e. NITSER Act 2007, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India conducting UG, PG & Ph.D. programs in Engineering, Science,and Humanities.

NIT Mizoram invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Non-Teaching positions.

Superintendent: 01 Vacancy
Junior Engineer: 02 Vacancies
Technical Assistant: 02 Vacancies
Technician: 05 Vacancies
Junior Assistant: 02 Vacancies
Office Attendant: 01 Vacancy

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years for Superintendent, Junior Engineer, Technical Assistant, and 27 years for Technician, Junior Assistant, or Office Attendant post as on 17-03-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Competitive Written Examination. Candidates who qualify in the Competitive Written Examination only will be called for a Trade Test carrying 50 marks. Trade Test is a qualifying nature.

Pay Scale: Rs.35,400 for Superintendent, Junior Engineer, and Technical Assistant post
Rs.21,700 for Technician, and Junior Assistant post
Rs.18,000 for Office Attendant post

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for General, OBC category candidates.
Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST category candidates
PwBD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
