Eligibility Criteria According to Departments:
Engineering: Candidates must possess a B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent and M.E./ M.Tech or equivalent and PhD in relevant/ equivalent discipline with first class in the UG/ PG. B.E./ B.Tech with direct PhD with first class in UG will also be considered.

Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics: PhD degree in the relevant or equivalent discipline with first class B.Sc/ M.Sc degree.

Management: PhD in Management with any Bachelor’s degree (3/4 years) and MBA or equivalent Master’s degree in Management or equivalent PGDM (2 years) as per Association of Indian Universities, or PhD in Management with integrated Master’s degree in Management. First class in the preceding degrees is essential.

Humanities: PhD in Humanities with any bachelor’s degree (3/4 years) and master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Humanities or PhD in Humanities with an integrated master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Humanities. First class in the preceding degrees is essential.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 45 years for Associate Professor posts, 55 years of age for Professor posts, and 35 years of age for other posts. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Teaching Demonstration (Blackboard Teaching on any core course of the branch at the 2nd year B.Tech level for Engineering branches and at 1st year MSc/MA level for Sciences and Humanities), Research presentation using a PPT followed by Interview.

Pay Scale:
Pay Level 11 and Cell 3 of the Pay matrix of 7th CPC, AGP-7000 for Assistant Professor - Grade II (on Contract)
Pay Level 12 and Cell 1 of the Pay matrix of 7th CPC, AGP-8000 for Assistant Professor - Grade I posts
Pay Level 13A2 and Cell 1 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC, AGP-9500 for Associate Professor posts
Pay Level 14A Cell 1 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC, AGP-10500 for Professor posts

Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates, and candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ PwBD are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Rs.5000 for Indian Nationals applying from abroad.
