NHPC Limited, a Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Trainee Engineer in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Discipline through GATE-2024/ 2025 Score.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in relevant Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 01-10-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-2024 / GATE-2025 score (Best Score), Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Pay Scale: Rs.50,000 - 1,60,000

Application Fees: Rs.708/- for General/ EWS/ OBC category candidates
SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen/ Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
