Job Description :

North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited, a Schedule –‘A’ "Mini Ratna" Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India and a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, engaged in planning, designing and executing power projects in hydro, thermal and Solar Sector, propose to engage Apprentices for FY 2025-26 under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for a period of one-year apprenticeship training in the various trades for its different Plants/ Projects/ Establishments.

Apprentices: 135 Positions

Graduate Apprentice: 46 Positions
Technician Apprentice: 26 Positions
Graduate or Equivalent in General Streams: 18 Positions
Trade Apprentice: 08 Positions

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate Apprentice Posts: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University.

Technician Apprentice Posts: Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering or Technology Granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government.

Trade Apprentice Posts: Candidates must have passed 10th & ITI

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on 01-09-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be based on merit as per mark secured in the degree/ diploma course as mentioned Apprentice posts.

Stipend: Rs.14877/- for Trade Apprentice
Rs.15000/- for Technician Apprentice
Rs.18000/- for Graduate Apprentice
