Job Description :

Mumbai Port Authority Sports Club is seeking talented athletes to join their team as Sports Trainees. Selected individuals will have the opportunity to train and compete professionally in their chosen sport, representing the club in various competitions. The sports offered include Athletics, Shuttle Badminton, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi, and Volleyball.

  - Men: 40
  - Women: 1 (Athletics)
3. Important Dates:

Opening of Application Receipt: August 28, 2024

Application Deadline: September 14, 2024

4. Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 01-August-2024.

5. Eligibility Criteria:
- Represented the country in an international competition during 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24.
- OR Represented your state in a national competition during 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24.
- OR Represented a combined Universities team in a national competition during 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24.
- OR Represented your University in an Inter-University tournament conducted by the University Sports Control Board during 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24.
- Additional Requirements:
  - Cricket: Represented at least a Club in the 'A' division tournament.
  - Hockey, Football, Kabaddi, Volleyball: Represented in at least the Super/Elite Division.
6. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on achievements in the sport.

Pay Scale: Stipend: Rs. 16,000 per month (contract basis for 10 months)

Application Fee: Rs. 200 (Demand Draft in favor of "Mumbai Port Trust Sports Club", Payable at Mumbai)

Candidate can obtained Application form from the office of Mumbai Port Authority Sports Club, 2nd Floor, Railway Manager’s building, Ramjibhai Kamani Marg, Near Vasant Hotel, Ballard Estate, Mumbai-400 001, on any working day between 11.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on payment of Rs.200/-. The application form can also be downloaded from the website http://www.mumbaiport.gov.in.

The duly filled application form along with self attested photo copies of certificates, copy of Aadhar card, Pan card and Demand draft in sealed envelope to be submitted to the Junior Trainee at the Mumbai port Authority sports club.
