Job Description :

High Court, Madras invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Research Law Assistant to the Hon'ble Judges, High Court, Madras on ad-hoc basis, for a period of one year.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Research Law Assistant: 30 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The Candidate must possess a Graduate Degree in Law from recognized Universities in the Indian Union, and should be recognized by the Bar Council of India for admission as an Advocate or Attorney of an Indian Court.

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 as on 01-01-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The eligible candidates will have to appear for viva voce at the Principal Seat at Chennai or Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.
(ii) The Committee may decide at its discretion to hold a screening test.
(iii) No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates either by screening test if held, or viva voce.

Place of Posting: Selected Candidates will be posted either in the Principal Seat at Madras or at the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, Madurai.

Honorarium: Rs.30,000/- per month
