Jharkhand Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Competitive Examination-2025.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a bachelor degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time or possess an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 01-08-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Preliminary, Mains examination, followed by the Interview.
Preliminary Examination: The examination shall comprise of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each, namely, General Studies I and General Studies - II
Mains examination: The Mains examination will consist of 06 papers for total of 950 marks.
Interview: The total marks for Interview Test would be 100 and there shall be no minimum qualifying marks therein.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall marks obtained in Main (Written Examination) and Interview Test.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,300 - 34,800/-
Application Fee: Rs.100/- for Unreserved, Extremely Backward Class, Backward Class and EWS category candidates
Rs.50/- for SC/ ST categories candidates of Jharkhand state.
Scheduled Tribe, Primitive Tribe/ Scheduled Caste of Jharkhand State candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
