IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2024-25 Application Form: 572 Vacancies

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) invited online applications from eligible candidates for apprentices training positions under Apprentices Act, 1961, for a one-year program in Financial Year 2024-25. This program offers hands-on experience in the banking sector.

Eligibility:

Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any field from a recognized university. The degree should have been awarded between April 1, 2020, and August 1, 2024. Candidates need to meet the bank's requirements for medical fitness and character verification.

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years as on 01-August-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on an online written exam for the Indian Overseas Bank Apprenticeship program consisting of 100 marks and has a duration of 90 minutes.

• Online written exam (objective type) covering general/financial awareness, English, quantitative and reasoning aptitude, and computer/subject knowledge
• Test of local language (if applicable) for the state where the training will take place
• Personal interaction (may be conducted)

 

Stipend: Monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000 for Semi-Urban / Rural  areas, Rs. 12,000 for Urban areas, and Rs. 15,000 for Metropolitan cities; including subsidy component.

Application Fee: The fee varies based on category: Rs. 472/- for candidates belonging to PwBD, Rs. 708/- for Female/SC/ST candidates, and Rs. 944/- for GEN/OBC/EWS candidates.
