    Job Description :

    Applications are invited from unmarried men and women candidates for becoming permanent commissioned officers in executive and technical branches under the 10+2 (B.Tech) cadet entry scheme after undergoing a four-year B.Tech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

    Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination from any recognized board with at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).

    Candidates must have appeared for the JEE (Main) - 2024 exam (for B.E./ B.Tech).

    Call-ups for the Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2024 published by NTA.

    Age Limit: Candidates must born not earlier than 02 Jan 2006 and not later than 01 Jul 2008; both dates inclusive. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

    Medical Standards/ Relaxation in Height and Weight/ Tattoo: All candidates recommended by SSB are required to undergo a medical examination applicable to 10+2 (B Tech) entry. Guidelines for medical standards are available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. There is no relaxation in medical standards on any grounds. Change of medical hospital/centre is not permissible under any circumstances.

    Selection Process: 
    Candidates will be selected for SSB based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2024. All candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List (CRL) in the application.

    SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Mar 2025 onwards.

    Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail and SMS. Change of SSB Centre for examination/ interview is not permissible under any circumstances. Candidates are to download the call-up letter upon receiving intimation from Naval Headquarters via SMS/email. Details of the SSB procedure are available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in

    Training:
    (a) Selected candidates will be inducted as cadets for the four years B.Tech course in applied electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, or electronics and communication engineering as per Naval requirements. On completion of the course, B.Tech. The degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
    (b) The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy. The cadets will also be provided with entitled clothing and messing.
