Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics from Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt of India, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Passed Three years diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Passed Two years of Vocational Courses with Non-vocational subjects viz, Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: Agniveer 02/2025 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Sep 2004 – 29 Feb 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
Agniveer 01/2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Feb 2005 – and 31 Jul 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
Agniveer 02/2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Jul 2005 – 31 Dec 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of three stages of test:
Stage-I: Indian Navy Entrance Test: The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions of 100 marks.
Stage-II: Written Exam: The stage II written exam will be conducted only for those candidates who qualify the PFT.
Recruitment Medical Examination: A Recruitment Medical Examination will be carried out for candidates who qualify Stage-I and Stage-II.
Training: Training for Agniveer 02/2025 will tentatively commence in Sep 2025 and for Agniveer 01/2026 in Feb 2026 and for Agniveer 02/2026 in Jul 2026 at INS Chilka, Odisha.
Pay Scale: Rs.30,000 per month
Examination Fee: 550/-
