Job Description :

Indian Museum, Kolkata, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Young Professional positions on a contract basis. The initial period of engagement will be for twelve months, which can be extended up to a maximum period of Two years.

Eligibility Criteria:

Young Professional (Graphic Design): Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication/ Media Science.
Or
Bachelor in Fine Arts/ Visual Arts/ Commercial Arts.

Young Professional (Videography cum Video Editing): Candidates must possess a Graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication/ Media Science.
Or
Graduation with Certificate Course/ Diploma in Video Editing.

Young Professional (Social Media Strategist): The candidate must posses a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication/ Marketing/ Digital Media/ Public Relations.
Or
Diploma in Digital Marketing.

Candidate must have knowledge of Content creation, copywriting and basic graphic design tools like Canva/ Photoshop.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 02-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Engagement Period: 12 months

Remuneration: Rs.35,000/-
