Eligibility Criteria:
Navik (General Duty): Candidates must have passed the Class 12th with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch): Candidates must have passed the Class 10th from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Yantrik: Candidates must have passed the Class 10th from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
OR
Class 10th & Class 12th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) “AND” Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 22 years. Candidates must be born between 01 Jul 2000 and 30 Jun 2004 (Both dates inclusive). However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of four stages.
Stage I: Computer Based Online Examination
Stage II: Identity Check and Biometric Verfication, Assessment Test, Physical Fitness Test, and Document Verification.
Stage III: Pre-Enrolment Medicals at INS Chilka
Stage IV: Training at INS Chilka
Training: INS Chilka
Pay Scale:
Pay Level of 03 for Navik posts
Pay Level of 05 for Yantrik posts
Application Fee: Rs.300
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST are exempted from such payment of the application fee.
