Indian Army CSBO Grade-II Recruitment 2026: 190 Group C Vacancies

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of CSBO (Civilian Switch Board Operator) to Grade-II, Group ‘C’ on probation for a period of two years followed by permanent absorption, subject to satisfactory performance during the probation period.

CSBO Grade-II: 190 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Candidates must have proficiency in handling the Private Board Exchange (PBX) Board.
Candidates must have a minimum of 06 months of experience.

Candidates must have fluency in spoken English and Hindi.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 31-05-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the written test.

Shortlisted candidates will also have to undergo a practical test and an interview, which will be of a qualifying nature.
