This is a detailed employment notice for the recruitment of Peons at the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh. Selected candidates will be responsible for various administrative tasks within the court.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: Middle Standard and maximum 10+2 from recognized School Education Board
- Domicile Requirement (for SC/ST/BC reservation): Punjab, Haryana, or Chandigarh
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) required for government employees
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years of age as of 20/09/2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test.

Written Test (100 marks, multiple choice, English, Hindi, or Punjabi) - Minimum marks: 50% (General), 45% (Reserved)

Physical Endurance Test (Qualifying only): 800m race, long jump, high jump (criteria vary by age and gender)

Application Fee: The exam fee is Rs.700/- for candidates belonging to the General category and SC/ST/BC categories from areas/states other than Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh. However, candidates from Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh belonging to these categories can pay a reduced fee of ₹600.
