  Job Description :

  Eastern Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for training in Workshops and Divisions of Eastern Railway as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time.

  Liluah Workshop: 612 Positions
  Sealdah Division: 440 Positions
  Kanchrapara Workshop: 187 Positions

  Asansol Division: 412 Positions
  Jamalpur Workshop: 667 Positions

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in the aggregate, from a recognized Board and should also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT. 

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years as of 13-09-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list.

  Application Fee: Rs.100/-
  SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
