DRDO RAC Scientist Recruitment 2026 Application Form

DRDO formulates and executes programs of scientific research, design, development, testing, and evaluation of various systems, subsystems, devices, and products required for the defense of the nation. The research laboratories of DRDO are grouped into seven technology clusters which function under respective cluster Director General (DG).

DRDO Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC), invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Scientist E, Scientist D and Scientist C in the DRDS cadre and other Encadered posts in DRDS cadre on regular basis under Lateral Recruitment Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 56 years as on 19-06-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of a Personal Interview. The final selection of candidates will be purely on the basis of the merit of marks scored by a candidate in the personal interview.
