Job Description :

Directorate General of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment in Group ‘C’ Posts in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers.

Pharmacist: 01 Vacancies
Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 56 Vacancies
Electrician Highly Skilled-II: 32 Vacancies
Fireman: 36 Vacancies
Tradesman Mate: 230 Vacancies
Vehicle Mechanic: 100 Vacancies
Fitter (Skilled): 50 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:
Pharmacist: Candidates must have passed 10+2 and Diploma in Pharmacy.

Lower Division Clerk: Candidates must be passed the 12 class and must have a Typing speed of 35 wpm (English) and 30 wpm (Hindi).

Electrician Highly Skilled-II: Candidates must pass 10+2 and ITI (Respective Trade or Grade)

Fireman: Candidates must have passed Matriculation

Tradesman Mate: Candidates must have passed Matriculation

Vehicle Mechanic: Candidates must have passed 10+2 Pass and ITI in the Motor Mechanic discipline

Fitter (Skilled): Candidates must have passed ITI in their respective Trade or Grade

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years (30 years for Fire Engine Driver). However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written test that will be conducted for all Trades. The selection committee has the discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks in any or all parts of the papers. Skill tests and Physical tests (wherever applicable) will be conducted for candidates who pass the written test and come in merit. Skill test and Physical test (wherever applicable) will be qualifying in nature and the
candidates who fail to qualify Skill/ Physical test shall not be eligible for selection.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 05 for Pharmacist posts
Pay Level of 04 for Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Electrician Highly Skilled-II posts
Pay Level of 02 for Fireman, and Tradesman Mate posts
Pay Level of 01 for Fitter (Skilled) posts

How to Apply: Applicants are suggested to send the duly completed application form along with supporting documents in all manners as per official guidelines alongwith a self addressed envelope (size- 10.5 cm x 25 cm) with postal stamp of Rs 5/- properly sealed in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post applied for through ordinary post. Candidates are requested to super scribe the words “Application for the post of ________” on the top of the envelope while sending the application form.
