Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ company of the Government of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates for filling up the posts of Workmen on contract basis for CSL.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years of age as of 12-01-2026. Applicants should be born on or after 31 December 1979. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process:

For the posts of Senior Ship Draftsman: The selection process comprises two phases:

The Online Test shall be of 75 Minutes duration comprising of 100 Multiple Choice Questions and consists of two parts:

Phase-1: Objective type online Test (Part A - 70 marks) and
Phase 2: Practical Test in CAD (Part B - 30 marks).

Each question carries one mark and there will be no negative marks. The Phase I Online test shall be held at various test centres in Kerala, and Phase-II shall be held at CSL, Kochi.

For the posts of Junior Technical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant (Mechanical & Chemical), Store Keeper & Assistant: The method of selection for the posts shall be through Objective Type Online test and Descriptive Type Online Test which shall be conducted out of 100 marks.

The Objective Type Online Test shall be of 75 Minutes duration comprising of 70 Multiple Choice Questions and consists of two parts – General (20 Marks) and Discipline related (50 Marks). Each question carries one mark and there shall be no negative marks. The Descriptive type Online test shall be of 60 minutes duration.

Scale of Pay: Rs.22,500 - 73,750/- for Assistant Posts
Rs.23,500 - 77,000/- for All Other Posts
